Expressions of Interest

For Provision of Health and Wellbeing Services Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre

The Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre (BALC) was opened in 1994 and is an icon in Ballarat and surrounding townships. The Centre offers a range of programs and services year-round that enable healthier and happier communities.

 

Proudly owned and managed by Ballarat City Council, the facility attracts in excess of 600,000 visits annually. Presently, there are more than 3,400 registered members.

 

An exciting opportunity now exists for commercial operators and community organisations wishing to lease Consulting Suites under a commercial lease incorporating rent and terms.

Council is seeking ‘Expressions of Interest’ from professional service firms with the expertise and resources to provide health and wellbeing services at the Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre.

 

Results from a previous survey conducted indicate that patrons and members would value services such as, but not limited to Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Myotherapy, Dietetics, Podiatry, Chiropractic and Massage services. Services should be of a nature that complement but do not directly compete with Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre programs and services. The services delivered must be delivered in accordance with the correct ethics and expectations of the City of Ballarat and Statutory Bodies.

 

The Consulting Suites are located opposite the reception area near the main entrance to the Centre and offers:

  • Exceptional exposure due to location of suites in main thoroughfare of centre
  • Approximately 85m2 of area
  • Ample customer parking
  • A well-known location and site
  • 24 hour, 7 day a week security
  • Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre patrons and members – more than 1500 patrons and members visit the Centre each day.
  • Access to Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre facilities and services according to a schedule of fees and charges.
