Ballarat Regional Soccer Facility Advisory Committee
The City of Ballarat is seeking to appoint a new independent skillsbased representative to sit on the Ballarat Regional Soccer Facility Advisory Committee
The Committee is established to ensure that the Ballarat Regional Soccer Precinct is managed in a manner that ensures access for the highest levels of soccer and that it also ensures community access.
The committee shall also ensure that the facility operates in accordance with a sound and fi nancially responsible business model that includes provision of ongoing maintenance and renewal of the precinct.
The responsibility of the committee is to assist Council in the long term use, development and planning of the precinct including: facility development and forward planning, sourcing of appropriate funding to achieve facility development and improvement, asset management, financial sustainability, partnership opportunities and policy issues with respect to services.
The Ballarat Regional Soccer Facility Advisory Committee meets at 5pm on the forth Monday of every month, at the facility on Pleasant St, Redan.
