Change is often difficult and the City of Ballarat appreciates and welcomes feedback, good or bad or constructive.  We encourage tourism operators and other businesses to stay involved as we broaden our marketing, our reach and try new approaches.

As we move into this new era, Council remains committed, together with Visit Ballarat, to deliver a successful Spring tourism marketing campaign over the coming months. This includes the promotion of amazing arts, sporting and music events generated by or supported by the City like the Royal South Street Eisteddfod, the Ballarat International Foto Biennale, major basketball tournaments at the Ballarat Sports and Events Centre and Spilt Milk.

This is one advertisement in one publication which will be seen by one million Qantas passengers. It is not simply a tourism message, but a pointer to the start of marketing all that Ballarat is.
