Sebastopol’s much-loved Wall Street play space is open for play after a colourful revamp.
The play space, located on the corner of Wall and Nelson Streets, now features new toddler play equipment, a handball square, bird nest swing, seating and a walking path.
The $85,000 upgrade comes after the City of Ballarat’s Engaged Communities team met with residents late last year to discuss plans to update the existing playground and local parkland.
The improvements are the priorities that the community identified during the engagement process.
Further improvements, including planting extra trees and upgrading street paths, are due to take place from autumn next year.
