Amendment C216ball
The City of Ballarat has prepared Amendment C216ball to the Ballarat Planning Scheme.
The land affected by the amendment is
• 15 Lake View Court, Ballarat North
• Part of Lot 1 PS545482N Giot Drive (Ealing Avenue Reserve) Wendouree
• 2A Albert Street, Sebastopol
The amendment proposes to rezone land to allow for the sale of land. Specifically, the amendment proposes to:
1. Rezone 15 Lake View Court, Ballarat North, from Public Park and Recreation Zone to General Residential Zone Schedule 1.
The northern section of Webb Road, Delacombe was reconstructed recently as part of a residential development resulting in the road alignment of Webb Road having the appearance of a continuation of Ascot Gardens Drive.
The City of Ballarat is proposing to rename this section of Webb Road to Ascot Gardens Drive to avoid confusion about the road alignment for residents and emergency services.
Residents directly affected by this proposal can make a submission by 5pm, Tuesday 17 December 2019.
From Saturday 16 November to Friday 22 November is Half Price Mattress Week.
Ballarat residents can dispose of their old mattress at the Ballarat Transfer Station for $15, which is half the normal price.
The following week, Saturday 23 November to Friday 29 November, is Free Green Waste Week.
To prepare for the fire season, residents can drop off domestic green waste free of charge at the Ballarat Transfer Station.
During November, Transfer Station opening hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and extended hours of 8am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday.
The City of Ballarat, as the declared waterway manager for Lake Wendouree, hereby gives notice under section 208(2) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 (Vic) that all persons and vessels not registered to take part in the Rowing Victoria Regattas on Lake Wendouree, as detailed in Table 1, are prohibited from entering and remaining in the following waters.

Section 206 Schedule 10 Clause 3 Local Government Act 1989
Ballarat City Council declares that by this notice it proposes to discontinue part of the road known as Redan Street, Newington, as shown in the marked areas on the plan below.
In accordance with section 223 of the Act, written submissions must be received by the Property Department within 28 days of this notice, being close of business on 14 November 2019.
In accordance with Section 54 of the Road Management Act 2004, and regulation 13 of the Road Management (General) Regulations 2016, the City of Ballarat (Council) gives notice that it has adopted amendments to its Road Management Plan (RMP) at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 2 October 2019.
